Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Punta Arenas to Barbara Channel
Arrive into Punta Arenas in southern Patagonia. NOTE: night at the Hotel Plaza is included at no extra cost allowing you to spend time in the city before the trip starts.

Departing from hotel at 2000 hours you will join the transfer to the embarkation area at Punta Carrera (in the Fuerte Bulnes area) where we will board The M/N Forrest at approximately 2100 hours. 

After a safety briefing and tour of the boat and facilities we will be setting off on our adventure as we will sail across the Magellan Strait towards Carlos III Island in the Francisco Coloane Marine Park which comprises 260 square miles.

All meals and drinks included whilst on board.

Day 2: Carlos III Island to Frozen Glacier
In the early morning we will navigate through the Barbara Channel towards the Frozen Glacier. We will head towards Carlos III Island where you will be able to observe whales in their natural habitat.

The wildlife observation will continue as we go around Rupert Islet where you will be able to see penguins, sea lions, skuas, petrels and albatrosses.

During the night we will sail through the Magellan Strait towards D'Agostini Sound.

Day 3: De Agostini Sound to Aguila Glacier
During early dawn we will enter The Magdalena Channel and Kyats Fjord. We will then travel towards De Agostini Sound stopping at magnificent Aguila Glacier.

After breakfast on board we will visit Aguila Glacier and for those who would like to there will be an opportunity to paddle out in kayaks onto Angelito Bay.

At midday we will depart in the direction of the Serrano Glacier where we will spend the night on board.

Day 4: Gabriel Channel to Almirantazgo Sound
After breakfast we will head out to another amazing glacier, the Vergara Glacier.

At midday we will depart in the direction of the Gabriel Channel, a narrow crossing of extraordinary beauty that leads us into Almirantazgo Sound.

From here we will continue our journey towards Azopardo Bay to visit a colony of black browed albatrosses. Docking for the night at Parry Fjord we will relax on board with a delicious dinner and glass of wine.

Day 5: See Elephant seals at Jackson Bay
Today we will be enjoying a visit to a colony of sea elephants in Jackson Bay and a colony of albatrosses in the afternoon.

We will then stop at Parry Fjord to admire the spectacular view of the glacier surrounded by the highest frozen peaks in the Darwin mountain range.

Day 6: Visit to Tucker Islet and Fitton Bay
Today we will visit Tucker Islet where we will observe a variety of bird life including the cute Magellanic Penguin, colonies of Cormorants and Skuas.

Afterwards we will head towards Fitton bay to visit another wonderful glacier.

Day 7: Return to Punta Arenas
In the early morning we will navigate through the Gabriel Channel towards our final destination Punta Arenas.

After disembarking you will be transferred back to your hotel in Punta Arenas, arriving at around 1800 hours.
