Eco Camp 4-day Whales
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Punta Arenas to San Isidro. Night Inn
You should arrive into Punta Arenas the night before the scheduled trip start day.

You will be collected at 0900 hours from your place of accomodation in Punta Arenas. Transfer from Punta Arenas to the boarding point (approximately 1 hour by land).

Board rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) for the short trip across the bay (30 minutes) before arriving at the San Isidro Light House and visiting Bahia el Aguila.

There is an option to kayak this afternoon if you would like to. Please contact us for costs.

Dinner will be at the Faro San Isidro Lodge with accommodation in double rooms with private bathroom. Dinner included (wine/drinks available at extra cost).
Francisco Coloane Park
Day 2: Boat to Carlos III Island.
After an early breakfast while enjoying stunning views of the Magellan Straits we will walk down to the water and board the Esturion II vessel for the sailing out to Carlos III Island. Lunch on board depending on the weather conditions.

Arrival at the Carlos III Island eco camp. Tour of camp and whale observatory and lecture on the Francisco Coloane Marine Park and marine wildlife.

Dinner at the Carlos III camp.

All meals included (limited wine included with dinner).



Unforgettable
Day 3: Observe Whales. PM sail to glacier . Night camp.
This morning will be spent observing whales with hopeful sightings of penguins, cormorants and sea lions.

Lunch will be on board before we once again sail out for a navigation towards the beautiful, remote glaciers Capella or Gregorio over Santa Ines Island.

Return to camp for dinner and lodging at Carlos III camp.

All meals included (limited wine included with dinner).





Biodiversity
Day 4: Return to Punta Arenas.
This is our last morning at camp. We board the Esturion and head back to Punta Arenas, navigating the Magellan Straits with lunch served on board. During the voyage you will have the last chance to see the humpback whales close up.

We arrive in Punta Arenas late afternoon where you will be transferred to your accommodation arriving at your hotel at around 2000 hours.
