Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Puerto Natales. Glacier Boat. Hike Grey - Pehoe
Arrive into Puerto Natales the night prior to today as we make an early start. For advice on arriving and extra hotel nights, refer to our Getting to Patagonia link.

Meet guide and the rest of the group at BlueGreen Adventures office and take a private transfer via the new road into Torres del Paine arriving at the Park's entrance in just over an hour.

Drive to Grey Lake and board the Grey II launch which takes you through the normally iceberg-choked waters of Grey Lake and up to the disembarkation point close to Grey Glacier. After a walk to the Grey Glacier lookout, we will continue hiking down the beautiful forested trail towards Lake Pehoe. This trail skirts the edge of the immense Grey Glacier and the mountain and glacier views are incredible. After a packed lunch, continue on to the turquoise waters of Lake Pehoe, one of the prettier lakes in the Park.

Your tents will be ready for you here so you can relax and enjoy some snacks and a cup of tea or glass of wine before dinner. Dinner will be eaten in nearby refugio.

Lunch and dinner included (drinks available at extra cost). Camp facilities include hot showers, small shop, bathrooms and a bar.

Hiking time: approximately 5 hours depending on photo stops. No significant altitude gain. Trail moderate with some rocky sections. Recommend hiking poles for those with knee problems. Distance 11km.

A full day's hike we will enjoy fantastic views of the amphitheatre of granite peaks that make up this enclosed valley as well as the waterscapes below including lakes Pehoe, Scottsburg, Toro, and Nordenskjold.

After some time enjoying the scenery we will have a picnic lunch before pressing on along the turquoise lake shores to Camping Cuernos situated in a beautiful location nestled between the mountains and the lake.

Night Camping. Dinner in nearby refugio. All meals included (drinks available at extra cost). Camp facilities include hot showers and bathrooms.

Day 4: Hike to base of Towers. Transfer Puerto Natales
Today's hiking is our most arduous but worthwhile as we climb to the Towers themselves. A round trip hike we will climb up into the Ascending Valley and through beautiful old growth beech forests to a rock moraine just under the towers.

A steep climb over the moraine will reward us with one of the most spectacular views in the park and weather permitting we will enjoy our last trail lunch at this amazing vantage point.

On return to the trail head, enjoy a glass of pisco sour in the nearby hotel before returning to Puerto Natales.

Trip end. Breakfast and lunch only today.

*Possibility of making a sunrise ascent to the base of the Towers today which from Refugio Chileno is highly recommended.

Hiking time: Approximately 6-7 hours. Maximum altitude gain 500m. Last section is a hop over glacial moraine with some steep sections. Return hike is a slow descent so we recommend hiking poles for anybody with knee problems. Distance: 14km.

Relax and enjoy the view
