Ushuaia/Tierra del Fuego
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Ushuaia. Transfer to hotel.
This trip starts in Ushuaia. We will collect you in a private transfer vehicle at either the bus station or Ushuaia airport depending on your preference.

Located in the far south of Argentina beside the historic waters of the Beagle Channel on the Isla Grande of Tierra del Fuego, Ushuaia is the southern most city in the world. It takes its name from the yamana word which means 'bay overlooking the west'.

Its coastal location is impressive and its proximity to thick sub-antarctic forests, pristine azure lakes and snow capped mountains encourages tourists from all over the world to arrive by sea, air or road and enjoy its vibrant centre and untouched territories.

Drive to Hotel 1810 or similar (3* hotel).

Dinner at leisure in town. No meals included today. Accommodation based on twin share in 3* hotel with en suite facilities.
Colourful Ushuaia
Day 2: Tierra del Fuego National Park. Night hotel.
Morning collection from your hotel for the short drive to Tierra del Fuego (approximately 12 km). Our excursion will give us views of the famous and historic Beagle Channel surrounded by mountains and forests as we experience some of the flora and fauna that makes Tierra del Fuego (land of fire) special.

On the way toward the Lapataia River we will see the peat bogs and beaver dams. We will cross the river to get to Laguna Verde before walking to Laguna Negra or along the Beaver Trail before proceeding to Lapataia, where archaeological sites were found and where the famous Pan American highway that starts in Alaska ends.

On our way back to the city we will stop at Roca Lake. There is also an opportunity to enjoy the End of the World Train (extra cost).

We will return to Ushuaia during mid afternoon. Time to relax and explore the city and its interesting shops and restaurants.

Night hotel as above. Breakfast included.
