This is a beautiful introductory hike into the pristine wilderness area known as the Cochamo Valley. The hiking is moderate to demanding with five to six hours walking each day and some climbing and traversing with ropes (full instruction given, no climbing experience necessary) The trip is fully supported by pack horses leaving you free to hike with just a day pack It is guided by experienced wilderness guides who take care of all the details Accommodation during the trek is camping in an organized site with showers and bathrooms. This trip is perfect for those of you wanting to explore this lesser known corner of Chile with dramatic peaks, grassy valleys and hidden waterfalls.
