Day 1: Transfer from Puerto Montt to Puerto Varas. B and B.
Day 2: Cross Tagua Tagua lake. Riding. Night in Lago Verde.
Day 3: Riding. Isla Bandurrias. Night at cabin.
Day 4: Visit Lago Azul. Riding. Isla Bandurrias. Night at Cabin.
Day 5: Riding. Cross border to Argentina. Visit El Bolson. Bariloche.
Day 6: Transfer out. Breakfast only.

This new trip is away from the main tourist routes and is a unique way to cross the border between Chile and Argentina. You will be looked after by Catherine and her family who will offer you fantastic hospitality, beautiful horses and great local food in a remote island paradise. To join this trip, you need to be an intermediate rider and be comfortable travelling in remote areas. Some of the transfers are in boats (life jackets are provided) so you should be comfortable around water.
For clients who do not want to ride, we can book a 2 or 3-Day crossing with a one or two night stay on Isla Bandurrias and the jet boat ride to the border. This trip starts in Puerto Varas and ends in Bariloche and in our opinion is a far preferable way to cross borders in the Lakes area than the more widely used routes.
